Pattern play, featuring Band of Gypsies

Be a Gypsy in editor fashion

Moving to New York I embraced a total nomad lifestyle. From crashing on friends beds and couches to staying penthouse on a Saturday night in Soho. I “thread through life” not knowing who, what, or ‘wear’ life will lead. It has been hard at points, but overall I have met the coolest/kindest people, and experienced new highs that I know would not have been achieved without the nomad state of mind. Feeling inspired by gypsy living (all about that hustle), I selected the items and styled the looks you see here.

My focus narrowed in on the brand, Band of Gypsies. Not only have they pulled off a perky collection, playing on patterns and bohemian vibes, but all of Gypsies looks are under $100. Bang for your buck is a must, I want my readers to feel inspired to click on my looks, not diminished by $1,000 price tags. So enjoy the bell sleeve dresses, flow-in-the-wind pants, and tasseled ties. Reign in the season!

Complete the look with suggestions from the editor

As shown, the Band of Gypsies Floral Shorts pairs great with their matching Tie Back Crop Top. I want to show my style-lovers that the floral pom-pom shorts and Print Wide Leg Pant look fantastically fresh with this white tie-up crop top by Persun (only $11.99 and great ratings on Amazon) A season staple, ‘hello off-shoulder!’ chambray peasant top by Sanctuary will work wonders, pant to short. Multilayer Beads (only $3.92), channel your best blue self and hippie-dippy Circle Frame Shades top off your ultimate coolness.

I am IN LOVE with this mixed print black and white outfit! Embroidered blouse by Mango, coupled with Band of Gypsies Tie-Front Short, this combination is a must to throw-on-and-slay. Add lovely lace espadrilles like ones shown by Nanette Lepore and dual tone shade by Tory Burch, completing the easy-breezy and oh so chic look.

For the weddings, meeting parents, and late night dates, slip into statement-making garments with this Bell Sleeve Print Dress (only $62) and Kimono Sleeve Playsuit, both by Band of Gypsies. Simplicity is left to the one-step application of slipping this flowy fabric on.

Be bold, be free, be gypsy ♥
