Go day to night Brooklyn Style

Go day to night Brooklyn style

Before I moved to New York I gave away all my high heels. We are talking about 50+ heels I collected over many years in Dallas. If Buffalo Exchange didn’t buy them (for way under their worth), I just gave them away to friends and asked that they love them and treat them like the respectful free, excellent condition, pair the shoes are.

New York has a different meaning of ‘pretty’ when it comes to style. The foundation of pretty bases off durability, little bit of f*%k off, bold pieces, and the  attitude of, “I did this under 5min.”

Based off experience, style, and visual processing, I created this Day to Night look for those living on rough streets or looking to spice up your style attitude with attention-grabbing pieces like this ‘Chill Pills’ iPhone case and roaring badge denim shorts.

The day look focuses on protection from the summer sun, with a chic ivory straw hat and on-season trend round sunglasses (both $12 @ Nordstroms)

The nights still have chill here in New York, so I continue to promote silk bomber jackets. They are great for making a lux yet fun statement. I am loving a pop of ruby red to vibe up the night and bring out the blue in these ankle strap sandal. Unfortunately, the red is no longer available. For even more statement alternative, try this shiny rust bomber jacket by Topshop.
Brooklyn brings out the Laura Croft in us all. Attacking the concrete jungle of cat calls, spilled drinks, and train hopping, this style is sure to bring comfort and a killer smile when hustling your way to that New York dream. For the items you see here, click the looks below. I made sure to pick buyer friendly options (as always!)
